The only sink I know is in the kitchen. How does it work within tokenomics?

Ask @ironshield , its him that like these terms :)... I was just responding to his questions, I am much more focused on utility, product market fit and on-boarding when I decide where to invest.

How does it work within tokenomics?

Learned about faucet / sink back when steem monsters was a thing - faucet is distribution like airdrops and prizes and rewards. Sink is eliminating (not trading) the token for something, like an in-game item, or a service. Promoting a post is a "sink" as the token is sent to @null (burned) in exchange for the service of promoting a post.

Slinterlands sink is ingenious, leveling up cards burns nfts on a mass scale.

Ecency uses the faucet/sink concept with their brilliant point system. Aquire the token by using the app (faucet), spend the token on boosts and promotions (sink). With no sink, tokens just gather up and loose value, eventually flooding the bathroom!

The best investment tokens ones that are utilized as quickly as they're minted, so the price remains stable, slowly growing over time, resisting pumps. Hope that explains it. @mypathtofire
