It looks like a zombie apocalypse is about to happen in your hostel because what you guys might take as a joke might be something serious.
I wanted to suggest that you guys should check the ceiling probably there is a cat in there but since you said the person who complained has concrete above him then it's not a cat.

I actually thought it was a cat myself, and maybe mine is.. But seeing how the guy downstairs is having all of this crazy things happening to him, I'm out.
