Well you also got to realize the desperation in a lot of those areas that had no knowledge.
And apparently there is a new chapter in the life of Jesus because there is a Vedic book where it says that Jesus bailed out of Israel and went back to India to enjoy a life of solitude and lived until his seventies.
That one would really screw up the entire crucifixion thing.
