I fully understand your frustration, noticed that too (boosts) and was kind of annoyed it doesn’t „work“ anymore.
In addition my @ecency app is much slower since about 2 week, takes ages to load my Wallet or my posts/blog or answers I got on my posts. Do you experience that too? Seems to be an app issue because different Wifis that work fine and also mobile net gives this slow experience these days. 😏

Can you change the server yourself or is that a background thing?

Yes please change server from settings page to the one that works best for you. Btw, new update is coming soon with some neat features
