Very disappointed in Ecency as it works today!
Boosts? In your dreams!
A few weeks ago I complained about Ecency crashing while making a post via the app. This still sometimes happens, but it seems to happen less and less. So that is at least something good.
My biggest issue with Ecency is their “boost” feature in which you get an upvote from their main account worth the amount of points you pay for it. This used to work pretty good, and was a nice way to get some more rewards from your posts.
But, the last 10 times I used the boost feature I got my points returned after a few days. Which really is demotivating.
I already mentioned this in my previous post, and I got an answer from Ecency that they are selecting them based on the quality of the posts. Which really is weird, as their standard must be a lot higher right now than it was 6 months ago. Every post I wanted to boost was a decent post, of between 300 and 500 words, about finance or sports. That is not good enough anymore for Ecency, it seems. I don’t know what they are expecting? A small book being written? Other subjects? Or is it because I didn’t pay for my points, but earned them by using the app?
I hope this changes soon, because this way, there is no reason for using the app anymore…
I fully understand your frustration, noticed that too (boosts) and was kind of annoyed it doesn’t „work“ anymore.
In addition my @ecency app is much slower since about 2 week, takes ages to load my Wallet or my posts/blog or answers I got on my posts. Do you experience that too? Seems to be an app issue because different Wifis that work fine and also mobile net gives this slow experience these days. 😏
It depends which server you use, but it happens indeed
Can you change the server yourself or is that a background thing?
You can in the settings
Yes please change server from settings page to the one that works best for you. Btw, new update is coming soon with some neat features
@melinda010100 and other curators do their best to select content for curation and sometimes volume of boost request too much that some posts cannot be reviewed on time. Maybe we should consider increasing number of our curators. Also @pele23 note that, VP allows us to vote limited number of content daily without too much depleting it. I will ask our curators to spread votes more and consider all content, meanwhile @pele23 have you tried smallest boost amount requests instead of requesting bigger boosts?
As for application crashing, we have new update ready should be available to download in a day or two, stay tuned, we have some exciting new changes coming up!
Are you publishing your posts using Ecency? When Ecency VP is low I prefer to support Ecencians first.
LasseCash pays A LOT in rewards for good posts. And the pool pays around 100%, there is no competition that can match that.

Just exactly who are you in a shitcoin competition with? If you actually did the math you would determine that for SWAP.HIVE:LASSECASH PUPPY and LASSECASH are what gives the majority of actual reward and those are probably outliers due to the LASSECASH:PUPPY pool giving PUPPY a higher value than it would naturally have by itself. All those other LP reward tokens are currently nothingburgers. Keeping track of https://www.lassecash.com/trending would show that only around half a dozen users get consistently high upvotes for their posted content.
Whoever it is you are in a shitcoin competition with I am certain you are winning.
Its a good thing that the rewards mostly comes from LASSECASH and PUPPY since those has real prices.
you must be stupid.
Glad you admit that only LASSECASH and PUPPY have a real price. PUPPY's only utility is that it can be paired with LASSECASH in a pool. Every other token you offer as LP reward has no utility. No pool, no staking, no delegation, nothing but sit like a rock in wallets with no value. That's why if you knew what a depth chart was and actually looked at the depth chart for each shitcoin reward for LP your pools offer you'd see that the sell pressure crushes the tiny amount of buying demand.
