Hello, my name is Marcela, I'm 23 years old, and I’m a graduation student at Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), I study biological sciences, participate and have a scientific initiation scholarship at Laboratório de Genética e Biologia Molecular (LGBM), my research its about the association of genetic polymorphisms in the GABAergic pathway with the combined diagnosis of schizophrenia and toxoplasmosis. Personally, I have always liked the field of biology, mainly because it gave me answers to questions and thoughts I had throughout my life. Furthermore, I consider myself a very hardworking and empathetic person, I always try to do the best I can with what I have, and try to see things from a positive perspective.
