Hello @ironshield. Wow, it sure looks like you are all having a wonderful time at the cottage! What is the name of the lake? The sanding beach looks so inviting. Your mom doesn't look like she is even 50! She looks fantastic! She looks so cute holding her cake and that is a really pretty cake too. Are those berries on the top of the cake? It looks yummy. Yes we had a blast! My mom really enjoyed her birthday with her children and grandchildren!
We were near Lexington Michigan, north of Port Huron, so that was Lake Huron. WAy off in the distance is Canada!
My mom would be ticked to hear that, yes she does not show her age much at all. Some say I take after her, as they think I'm in my 30's when I'm actually 45 years old! I hope I look as young as her when I'm in my 70's.
My sister diced up strawberries and added blueberries to the cake. It was delicious!

Oh Thank you for your answers @ironshield - Lake Huron. I will look on the map to see where it is now. That is cool your were close to Canada! You look very young as well @ironshield! You will be really happy when your are 70 that you look 50 or less. I am lucky that way but need to take supplements and exercise to help it from taking over me LOL. I have some health issues like bone loss and things but still doing pretty good compared to others my age. Oh that's is nice your sister put fruit on the cake.
