HBD savings for pocket money

For the very first time I will use some of the earnings from my Hive account and use it in the real world for real things and experiences. It’s not a lot, as I only pocketed an extra 400 $ for extra spending money for our holiday next week, still for me it’s a big deal.

When I first joined Steem 5 years ago it was a dream of mine to be able to live of of the earnings from blogging on Steemit. That balloon popped pretty fast, but now 5 years later my account is worth over 20000 USD, when taken every token into the equation. So, I must say, I haven’t done pretty bad at all. I could say pretty confidently that in 5 years from now my account will be worth over 200k Dollars.
So, for that reason, I will keep on Hiving.

But, enjoying some of that sweet “self printed” cash is so liberating. I can’t wait to spend that first bank note!

Printing your own cash is pure freedom

You can call it what you want, but in fact we are printing our own cash here, daily. Sometimes a single dollar bill, sometimes a 20 dollar bill. And some lucky ones are even able to print a Benjamin Franklin with their posts.
Anyhow, if you want to describe freedom to me, well that pretty much comes as close as it can get to freedom for me!

Enjoy that freedom people, because we all know we only live once. So taking some out, every now and then is a great way to do that!
