Forbes

DeFi tokens have experienced a sharp correction in the recent market adjustments, but still dominate the year-to-date gains.

According to data from Messari Crypto, 45 DeFi tokens have risen by 745% since the beginning of the year and by 240% in the past 90 days. In the short term, these tokens have shrunk by 8.5% in the past 30 days, highlighting the market's correction.

The market value of DeFi tokens is approximately US$5.3 billion, accounting for only 1.5% of all crypto assets. The best performing DeFi token in 2020 is Aave's LEND, which has earned 2,925% since the beginning of 2020. LEND is currently migrating to AAVE, which involves a 100-fold supply cut. The second-best performer in 2020 is YFI, with a return of 1670%. However, YFI's stock price has fallen 30% in the past 7 days, falling below $20,000. However, not all DeFi tokens have experienced such a prosperous year. One of them is SUSHI, which has fallen by more than 90% from its all-time high.
