Social Experiment

Research has shown that women are complicated and that no man can fully understand them. Some men have tried to prove the research wrong but at the end of it all, they always end up failing.

I and a friend of mine decided carry out a social experiment on his ex-girlfriend. We wanted to see if his ex-girlfriend would agree to spend the night over at his place even if she knew that he now has a girlfriend.

Now this ex-girlfriend in question was the one who ended things between them and was now in a new relationship with someone else. We knew all this but we still wanted to see if some how there was a way this was going to work (by this, I mean the social experiment).

So I picked up his phone and started texting her as if I was him. The reason why I did the texting was because I was a neutral person in the situation, I had no feelings for any of the parties involved and no feelings meant I was thinking straight and if she should say anything annoying, I wouldn’t get upset but instead look for a way to just keep the whole conversation going.

About an hour of countless chats and multiple voice notes in which some were very hilarious, I finally got her where I wanted. She no longer was talking about her boyfriend or my friend’s new relationship, the whole conversation had shifted and was now settled on just the both of them and the moment she started asking questions like “Why do you still like me?” I knew it was over, we won.

She finally agreed to spend the night but you see this was just an experiment and my friend is a faithful man (poor guy) so we looked for a way to let her know that they both won’t be seeing anytime soon.

And I know that some of you might say that maybe she still loves him and that’s why she agreed to spend the night but trust me, that isn’t the case here. She ended the relationship (in her head) and got herself a new boyfriend even before she told my friend that it was over between them. So she clearly was over him but because some women don’t know what they want and they can be so complicated that a few correct use of words can easily change their mind and make them do things.

Anyways, the social experiment was clearly a success.
