The Dragon Dungeons: Weekly Battle Challenge

It is another splinterland weekly battle challenge and We are using the dragon Element as the main character, we are to pick any dragon monster coupled with any other element since dragons cant really stand alone in battle. I would have drop my post a wile back but is like writer block really hit me so bad that I keep procrastinating, I just have to fight it and start writing back. Really glad we are using dragons this week because it can really make the battle easy since we wont use a specific monster card. Let me say this is one of my easy challenge so far.

This battle was between me and @helicopter-d in a 60 mana cap battle, one of the highest battle have seen so far and we are pick from any element except water which is my favourite, so i decided to dragon coupled with death and we were giving the knockout rule. It was the mana cap for me and I knew my opponent will really select his best cards so I decided to pick my best too, using two melee and 4 magic monster card on purpose.

My Formation

I really wasnt bother about the rule this time around but the monster card I decided to use and I either want them strong or have a good ability or they should have both. since am in the Gold league, I decided to use

Legionnaire Alvar as my frontline which is also a strong melee attack but really low speed, also have 9 amour with the void amour ability which will make opponent attack the amour first before attacking it health, it also have the demoralize to reduce melee attack among others. So I backed it up with Manticore which is one of my favourite dragon melee with 4 mana cap, Reach and thorn ability are important in some battle. I decided to went all in to the magic attackers since I have a lot and some are really strong, so I picked Djinn Muirat which is a death magic card with 5 ability when maxed but am using 4 ability here since i also maxed mine, the void amour and the magic reflect which return attack back to magic cards made me pick this cards. I also use Prismatic Energy a neutral magic card which is also common because of how strong it is with void and magic reflect ability. I use Phantom Solider mainly because of the silence ability because something told me my opponent will use some magic cards (Well he actually did) but i was able to reduce the attacks. Picking my backline was really tough but I had to pick Chaos Dragon mainly because it is strong and also have the Scattershot and blast ability.

If you have been using Chaos Dragon you will know that is monster card is really special even though the mana cap is really huge. Seeing the opponent formation didnt surprise me since I know he might bring magic cards too and I already use some counter cards which really work out.
