It all turned sour.

Will and Shimmer had been dating for years but never did Wills touch Shimmer's phone or thought of reading her chats.

He never believed in reading his spouse's chat or e-mails. He respected her privacy knowing that girls are a funny set of individuals who love playing around whenever they are chatting.

Wills was a jealous boyfriend and his jealousy was out of this world so he avoided his girlfriend's phone so he doesn't have issues with her over another person.

It was Will's turn to visit Shimmer at her place. Shimmer had waited patiently for his arrival but it seemed like he was taking forever and it gradually became annoying.

She was missing him like crazy and wanted him to just appear from nowhere and calm her nerves. She was losing her mind and suddenly she heard a knock at her door.

Shimmer beamed a little smile and lay on her bed feigning to be asleep. She left her room door slightly open so he could come in when he arrived because she had plans of making him beg for keeping her waiting.

Will walked in smiling sweetly and his fragrance filled the entire room immediately. She couldn't help but just breathe in and ask herself where she met this guy she called her boyfriend. He knew just the right perfume to use which drove her nuts.

Will looked at his girlfriend's face for a while and smiled broadly this time revealing his perfectly arranged dentition which always had its way of calming her nerves no matter how pissed she was.

Will knew his girl too much and perceived she was up to something. He didn't wait to be told he was late and started apologizing immediately explaining how he had to beat traffic to get to her because he knew so well he would be in big trouble if he was another minute late. He winked at her after rendering his speech of apology.

Shimmer, who had her eyes slightly closed, was now smiling the moment she saw him wink at her. She opened her eyes widely and hugged him close, inhaling the fragrance of his expensive sweet smelling cologne.

She picked up her pillow and hit him twice
'That's for coming late you know' she said as she rolled her eyes. He looked at her and knew she was ready to play so he took up another pillow and soon they were hitting each other and laughing like kids.

He finally surrendered to the beautiful lady he loved so much because he knew she'd never stop until she was proclaimed winner. When she finally got close after praising herself of winning the pillow fight he hugged her tight whispering to her right ear 'I missed you' and then blew softly in it making her giggle like a child.

He enjoyed watching her at his Mercy whenever it came to moments of romance.
He kept blowing and she closed her eyes and reached for his lips to devour them.

He gave in with ease and soon the hot love making moment began. It was so intense that Shimmer forgot she had something in the oven.

'Baby, baby I wanna go check what I put in the oven' shimmer called out to her boyfriend who was still on her.
'Oh okay' he replied as she got up hurriedly dashing to the kitchen in a flash.

The smell was all over the kitchen, the cookies had gone burnt and everywhere was filled with smoke. She turned off the oven and opened all the windows for ventilation.

Will's reached out to the phone to turn off the data so the numerous notifications could stop coming in and disturbing his eardrums. He looked at it while trying to turn off the mobile data,m another notification popped in with a heading that said 'I know you miss me'

Will was finally tempted to read this message and so opened it and read further. He saw so many chats of his girlfriend calling different guys sweet names over chatting and he was totally disappointed.

His phone was never restricted to shimmer, she always went through all his chats occasionally but never for once had he called another girl any sweet name apart from his shimmer to make her feel special in any way but here shimmer was doing the opposite.

He felt like crying, he felt like a cool, he felt stupid, he felt he was being used but then love hit him and he gave it a rethink. She always spends more time with me, she calls me often and chats even more with me, she loves me no matter what but then she isn't supposed to call them names to make them feel loved, it's not just one person but numerous guys. Will's thought out a bit loud.

His face had gone all pale and he put on his clothes and headed to the kitchen. Shimmer was surprised to see her boyfriend all dressed up with her phone in his hands.

She wanted to speak but speaking had become an understatement. She was short of words and felt like the ground should open up and swallow her. She felt guilty and even more like a promiscuous woman.

She went down on her knees pleading with tears welling up in her eyes as she read the message he stretched out for her to see. It was an 'I love you'. She had sent that to her ex boyfriend an hour before Wills arrived.

Wills was pissed and getting out of control, he lost words because his brain was getting defeated, for the first time in years had he been this broken, he couldn't utter a word even when he had pending questions to ask her. He put her phone on the kitchen counter and walked out leaving her in tears and still on her knees.

She ran out when it finally dawned on her that he was really out of her presence but it was too late. He had driven out super fast because he was tensed not just tensed he was filled with furry. She trembled in fear and prayed he didn't go haywire while driving.

She prayed so hard while dialing his contact. She dialed it severally but got no response and thought he must have had an accident. Shimmer thought of committing suicide, she could never live to watch him die because of her promiscuity. About thirty minutes later, she tried again and this time she had a knife in her hand to kill herself if he didn't respond.

He picked up the phone immediately her call came in but didn't utter a word. She wept bitterly confessing her love and explaining herself that all the names she ever called another guy meant nothing to her but whenever she said it to him, she meant it with all of her heart.

He cut her right in her tracks the moment she made that statement.
'Shimmer! Never you call me by any other name apart from my real name since the only special name that was meant for me is now used for every Tom and Harry'. He hung up the phone.

'Did he call me shimmer'? She muttered to herself as she wept. It's been a very long time since she heard him call her by her real name but now that he did, she knew that she was in big trouble and everything had just turned sour.
