DeadinCity - Rugged?

In case you aren't aware, DeadinCity is a play-to-earn blockchain game with a zombie apocalypse premise. The twist with this game is that rather than being a survivalist, you send out your zombies doing various tasks, from body collecting to head hunting, that earns you the in-game token, RDA. The usual system is employed with various levels of zombies, from common to legendary, with each being able to attain a certain amount of RDA. Like other games, DeadinCity also has Land NFTS where a certain percentage is charged to people sending their zombies on missions there.

All sounds good so far? It did to a lot of people, including me. Especially so when this project was advertised on the Wax homepage. I know... anybody can advertise with Wax, but it just helps add that little bit of legitimacy to a project in the eyes of most.

Everything went well at first. The usual hiccups with Alpha and Beta releases but everyone expects that. The first real alarm bell rang for a member of the Discord channel who noticed that of the $150,000 put in by investors, only $3000 had been put into liquidity for the RDA token. Furthermore, due to the low liquidity, a $300 dump of the token by a 'mystery dev wallet', led to a huge decline in value, pissing a lot of investors off.

The same Discord member repeatedly called out the devs for the low liquidity where vague promises of 'thoon' were announced. The calls for extra liquidity became greater and the replies from the Devs less so. The main developer of the game went on holiday for a couple of weeks, probably with all the investor's funds, so things quietened down in Discord for a while. After all, the game was still running and our zombies were earning RDA. Despite its low value, RDA still had value, and the group was holding onto hope that the Devs would come through as promised, delivering the liquidity.

Once the Dev returned from holiday, he promised that the liquidity would be added as soon as Wax reached a price of 30c. However, for many in Discord, this seemed not only too far away but just another delay tactic to keep everyone quiet.

It has been more than a week now since the Dev visited the DeadinCity Discord channel. Even porn links are not being deleted. The DeadinCity CPU ran out, meaning we could no longer send our zombies out, however, a few members staked some for the game. How long this will last, we don't know. The crunch will come when the RAM runs out. I can't imagine any investors willing to front that.
