The weekend is here come on in!🤗
“Let’s bag it Silvertop Lol!”☺️
I would hear my coworkers utter this phrase every Friday!😇
Now I know what it means!😇
Just look at these bags in the second photo!
These are “water” bags, designed to slowly leak water to the trees they are planted adjacent to!
Silvertop checked out several, as I hiked past these newly planted trees.
I was off the “beaten path” from my normal hiking trail.
Keith drove past Silvertop on a road far above where I was.
At one point, he stopped his Tesla………
I could see the wheels turning in his head!🤔
“ Who is that down below Lynne, do we have a stranger messing with the watering bags!”😲
I waved, and they finally recognized me, they waved back, and drove off…………
At $10 for each bag, that’s a bit pricey Lol!
I also noticed that half of these bags were empty!
I think Silvertop will just use mulch, and a bucket of water!😇
Jerry another neighbor drove by Silvertop and pulled to a stop………
“Silvertop you picked one of the hottest days to hike!”😅
It made it up to 80 degrees Fahrenheit today………
That’s too hot for Northwesterners Lol!😇
“By the way, have you seen my dogs coming down the logging road?”
Not recently Jerry…….
Jerry has five dogs, and they tend to run wild!
Whenever Liz and I see his “pack” of dogs coming, I slip my guitar playing fingers in my pockets………….One dog likes to nip at your hands!😬
After another day painting, it was nice to hit the hiking trails!😊
Even on a scorching hot Northwest Day!😇😎

Got to watch out for the nipper! Cool idea one the watering bags, but I would stick with a bucket too. If you're out of town for a few days that might be a convenient thing though.

People in the Northwest live in cooler weather most of the year. You get used to cold-weather so when suddenly it gets to be 80° it's way too hot Lol😅
