"COME OUT, COME OUT, WHEREVER YOU ARE!" Actifit Report Card: June 22 2023

“ Come out, come out, wherever you are!”😳
I had just finished stacking three cords of firewood in the wood shed late last night…….😅
With sunshine today, right on schedule,
I switched gears, and pulled out my airless paint sprayer!😊
I will pick back up with the fire wood the next time it rains………
Maybe tomorrow Lol!!😇🤣
Silvertop’s garage was the target of today’s painting!
I prepped the equipment, added latex conditioner to the paint, so it would shoot like an oil paint……..Silvertop was ready!😊
I kept hearing what sounded like a kitten meowing ….😽
Silvertop was on a mission…….😇
I ignored what I thought I heard…..
Less than two hours later I was finished with the siding paint!
The trim will need to be “cut in” tomorrow…….if it doesn’t rain Lol!🤣
I began the tedious process of thoroughly flushing the sprayer out with soapy water!
There it is again……am I hearing a kitten crying!😮
Silvertop keeps a stack of wood pallets under a waterproof tarp for kindling.
I cut these up as needed …………..
Ohh….No!😳
I grabbed my iPhone and called Liz at work, something I would only do in an emergency!😲
“ Liz, I am cleaning up my paint sprayer, and I believe we have a kitten stuck deep in the middle of my stack of firewood pallets!😮
“Silvertop go get a can of cat food and put it on a paper plate, maybe the kitty will come out!”😻
The kitten meowed, and moved to another spot deep in the pile of pallets!
That’s not good!😬
I stood there, assessing the situation ……
After working hard all morning, I didn’t want to start unstacking these pallets!
Meow ……..
that doesn’t sound good, the kitty isn’t coming out!
One by one I removed a stack of pallets from the center, hoping the little guy would come running out…..
That’s when I heard a pitiful meow coming from my back yard!🙀
The kitten had come out the back side of my pallets, and was now in one of my large pine trees!
Hmmm…… do I start restacking the pallets?
I picked up one pallet and put it back in its home.
Then a second, and a third………..
What?????
The kitten had come back to the pallet stack, and was again deep inside the stack meowing!😳
I decided to stop for now, treat myself to a hike, and maybe by tomorrow this kitten will have lost interest in playing “Hide and seek” with Silvertop!😇
“Cot, you stay INSIDE, go back to sleep on Mom and Dad’s waterbed!”😻
