The calm before the storm!😳
I spotted this large snowplow yesterday while Liz and I were shopping in town…..
“Pull over honey I want to snap a photo of this monster snowplow!”😊
The forecast was for 50% chance of snow Sunday.
I woke up this morning to a dimly lit bedroom ……🤔
Snow had completely covered our skylight!😲
A cold northeaster wind was blowing what we call “Snow Devil” clouds.
These are tiny spinning tornadoes of snow!🥶
When we lived in Colorado, we would get the same in the summer, spinning clouds of dust and dirt……We called these “Dirt Devils”!
Liz drove through several of these on the way to Church this morning, they produced complete “White out” driving conditions!😳
You just slow down, and keep moving through till you reach the outside again!😬
I was surprised to see a full Church, given the snowstorm, but it is the week before Christmas!🤗
You could hear many people coughing, a nasty bug is running around!
Liz needed to stop by the Optical clinic after Church to wrap up a few things she wasn’t able to finish on Friday.
It was like being in a snow globe, looking out at Winter in full force!
Hmmm……
“This means no Mail, or garbage pickup for several weeks Liz!”😳
15 degrees above zero and the Sun is still out!
I hope Santa is staying warm!😇

Ohhh. Hopefully it stops for some time. It might be difficult to have thick snow outside.
Yes it is very difficult I just spent the morning clearing snow from our wood pile and the wife's car it's a lot of hard work. Some people that are aged overdue themselves and can have heart attacks shoveling snow.....
Aww. Here, heat of the sun can cause stroke. There shoveling in cold can cause heart attack. 😢
Unfortunately we get can get both heat stroke in the summer, and in the cold cold heart attacks!😬
That's sad. Here, heat stroke is common during summer.
What happens in the Pacific Northwest is that the weather changes very quickly. It can get hot very fast and days before people were wearing coats. No one gets acclimated. That’s why people get heat stroke here.
Yeah. We all do have odd weathers.
It has been very strange, now the Christmas has passed. We have another wind storm coming… Is it summer time yet Lol!😇🤣

Is internet connection disruption often there?
Fortunately it doesn't usually interrupt Internet, but when it does we use the hotspot on the phone. Now they have reduce the speed of the hotspot not sure why...
We also use Hotspot on our phone. Telecom companies usually reduce the speed. They're cheaters.
I wonder if they are trying to discourage the use of hotspots. I think they are hoping you pay for a homebase service that they can charge you more….
Oh, so corrupt telecoms exist there too. Here, they will use "up to 50mbps" but the actual speed is 20. They will reason the offer used "up to".
Interesting my friend… I know when we installed our Internet they did not want to give us the highest speed we had to complain to management before they boosted our speed up…🤔
The most popular internet company here is the worse. Even with internet outage, you will pay for them.
That's the same here my friend, they stop picking up garbage the Internet stops and we keeping the same bill.....
Yeah. I'm wondering where's the fairness from these companies.

Wow, so much snow! I grew up in a place with cold, often snowy winters, but I've lived in far East Big Island, Hawai'i for almost five years now, and I can't even imagine cold and snow like that anymore! When I lived in Arizona we had mini tornados called dust devils! I used to see them all the time driving out into the desert! Lovely photos, by the way! Dirt devils are very interesting! When we first moved to the high desert of Colorado I had never heard of these. That's when we saw a cloud spinning coming up the valley .....
before we knew it it had blown the patio door screen of the track and we had dirt everywhere inside Lol!😳
They are fascinating, and can be all different sizes! They can certainly pack a wallop! Lots of power in a very focused area! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
