Uh….Oh…. We have a Paparazzi!🤣
You need to be on the lookout on your Mountain hike Silvertop……..
There are cameras everywhere!😲
Joan didn’t mind Silvertop snapping a photo of her on the deck of her Yurt.😇She was waiting for a friend, they both play ukuleles, and the Yurt was heated and ready to be filled with the sound of music!😊
“Silvertop would love to hear you guys play sometime!”
Jan was joining us today, and we continued our hike!…………
“What do you see Ladies?”
The layers of rock are very interesting on the Eastern side of Towhee Ridge.
In the fourth photo you can see the hillside is made up of Ocean floor sedimentary rock. Where this photo was taken is probably 850 feet give or take above Sea level. We are standing on the “Ring of Fire”, and the buckling of the Pacific plate, caused uplifting and this was once Ocean Seabed!
Hike a few hundred feet in any direction and you will find volcanic rock, very interesting!😊

The snow level was dropping, and Sumas Mountain had a dusting of fresh white snow! All three of us had raincoats, but as we crested the ridge, Silvertop packed his away in the backpack.
“It really could have been a cold wet hike today Liz……today’s hike turned out very nice honey!“🥰
As we arrived back home the skies started to clear, a familiar evening weather pattern…………
