Standing at the ridge top you can look down below, and see several boulders on top of tree stumps!
This give the clear cut a strange surreal feel!😲
In the fourth photo you can see a cleared hillside, that is ready to replant. Up above, in the same photo, Douglas Firs were planted several years ago. This must be very labor intensive!…………
Today Liz wanted to put up Valentines decorations! So we hiked up to our old stomping ground, and at the High Trail she decorated a young Fir tree with Valentines decorations!

I looked a second time and I spotted Adam high up in a very tall Fir tree repelling back down after trimming this tree!
In the last photo he stopped and posed for a photo!
“Liz you won’t find ME hanging by a rope!
I like both feet firmly planted on my Mountain hiking trails!”😅
