Cut Buddy
Brittany had been surprised when Scott reacted the way he did. She had thought he knew all along and was just playing along. She was kind of disappointed that all of this might be coming to an end, she was having a lot of fun and didn't want it to. But Scott was asking for too much and she just wasn't ready for any of that yet.
She should have seen the signs earlier when he always stood up for her against other guys but she had thought he was just being cute, nothing more. But tonight, Scott had pulled her out of the club because he didn't like the way she was dancing with other boys and that was when Brittany knew she had to refresh his memory on what they were to each other.
“What? So all of this had meant nothing to you?” A broken hearted Scott had asked after Brittany told him they were nothing more than just friends with benefit and that she was free to do as she pleased with other guys.
Truly they had not been dating but after having sex three times in a role, Scott had assumed that they were something important but his only mistake had been that he assumed it and not bother to ask her. After the second time they were together, he had started acting cute, getting her flowers and chocolates.
“No it's not that, I just thought we were just having fun. You know, two grown adults just having fun with no strings attached” Brittany had replied honestly but Scott wasn't having any of that. He was in love with her and had thought she had felt the same way.
“But..but I love you Brittany” Scott had said calmly while holding her hands, he was hoping she could feel the streams of emotions in his voice but the last thing Brittany wanted was to get tied down to one man, she wanted to be as free as a bird.
“I'm sorry Scott, I'm just not ready to be in a relationship for now” She said, slowly moving backwards and gently releasing her hands from his grip.
"It was fun while it lasted but I guess all good things comes to an end" Brittany thought to herself as she walked back into the club, leaving Scott standing outside all by himself.
PS: Cut Buddy is simply another way of saying Friends with Benefit

The worse thing ever is assumption. This thing called assumption is as bad as not breathing. I feel his pains though but if at all he didn't assume he was in a relationship with her( Brittany) he wouldn't have gotten that hurt at least he would have known the truth from the beginning that Brittany doesn't do relationships, and would just keep having the adult fun with her other than falling for someone that doesn't deserve it.
