I live in the USA... I went to Prague in the Czech Republic... I stayed near Old Town... While I was there, I happened to notice a Gold Coin in the window of one of the Shops... It was a 1913 Five Dollar U.S. Gold Coin in Beautiful Condition... I paid $182.50 for it and brought it back home to the States... That Gold Coin is now worth $75,000... I would suggest that you do a little Window Shopping where you live...

When were you in Prague? Times are changing...

Your example isn't about stacking, it's about collecting. There are antique dealers who buy for a dollar and sell for 10. They have no idea that the thing they bought is worth say $100 or $10,000. But there are fewer of them.

I am a collector. Forty years. Yes, several times in my life I have bought very... Cheap?

Seven months ago I became a stacker buying new coins.

Okay, I'll write something. But I don't promise when it will be.

I can't remember exactly when I was in Prague, but it was many years ago... Gold may have been around 400 USD's per ounce... I'm sure the Shop Owners made a Profit on the Gold, along with any premium they charged for the Gold Coin... The Coin may have been used to buy something in Prague, and whoever received it, must have set it aside for many years before it ended up in the Shops Window...
