Possibilities of Silvegoldstasking in the Czech Republic

It is customary to show your coins in articles under #silvergolstackery. So I'll show it... But I won't dazzle anyone with these coins. They are the most common ones that can also be purchased in my country.

In Australia, $1 is minted per ounce of silver, and in Canada, $5 is minted. Strange. This proves that the coins do not serve as currency, but as an investment piece of silver. But I don't want to write about that today.

I am new here. I don't know where most of the people who post #silvergoldstackers are from. I looked at a few nicknames. They are from America. Either from Canada or the USA.

I was wondering what the options are for buying investment gold and silver in America. And maybe someone would be interested in how to buy gold and silver in the Czech Republic, in Central Europe. This is what I want to write about.

More and more people are doubting fiat currency. This will be the same on all continents. Therefore, people try to invest their money elsewhere. Cryptocurrencies, precious metals, real estate, farmland, art, collectibles... It will probably be the same everywhere. But I think the possibilities will be different everywhere.

Merchants who began offering investment silver coins emerged after the 2008 financial crisis.Investment coins are subject to VAT here. Currently 21%.

Most people order coins by mail. Only in the big cities there are a few stores where you can pick up the coin in person, without paying a post office or other courier. Some of those shops are on the main streets and sell coins to tourists. With a big markup...

The purpose of this article is to compare. I am providing a link to the websites of two of our merchants. (It's not an ad.) I'm wondering if coins can be bought cheaper or more expensive where you live.

This is a link to my favorite merchant. I set the prices in dollars. But the store does not have an English version. It is intended for "home use". But it's obvious how it works... For a silvegoldstacker, it is important that gold is called "zlato" and silver is called "stříbro".

The other merchant has a website in English. But it doesn't have prices in USD. I set the prices in euros.

Can you list the websites of the stores you shop at? I probably won't have coins sent to me from America and you from the Czech Republic. But who knows...

Thank you for reading. Thank you for your response.

I live in the USA... I went to Prague in the Czech Republic... I stayed near Old Town... While I was there, I happened to notice a Gold Coin in the window of one of the Shops... It was a 1913 Five Dollar U.S. Gold Coin in Beautiful Condition... I paid $182.50 for it and brought it back home to the States... That Gold Coin is now worth $75,000... I would suggest that you do a little Window Shopping where you live...

When were you in Prague? Times are changing...

Your example isn't about stacking, it's about collecting. There are antique dealers who buy for a dollar and sell for 10. They have no idea that the thing they bought is worth say $100 or $10,000. But there are fewer of them.

I am a collector. Forty years. Yes, several times in my life I have bought very... Cheap?

Seven months ago I became a stacker buying new coins.

Okay, I'll write something. But I don't promise when it will be.

I can't remember exactly when I was in Prague, but it was many years ago... Gold may have been around 400 USD's per ounce... I'm sure the Shop Owners made a Profit on the Gold, along with any premium they charged for the Gold Coin... The Coin may have been used to buy something in Prague, and whoever received it, must have set it aside for many years before it ended up in the Shops Window...

It also can depend on what it is and from who, sometimes a dealer can get a really big batch and pass down the savings also i notice in Canada its harder to get American stuff for a reasonable price most the time

Even here, Canadian coins are cheaper than from the USA. I do not know why.

Sometimes a merchant buys a really large amount and needs cash. The merchant also buys back from his customers... It is a true science of when to buy and what.

Thank you for your comment.
