The way I see it there is at least a decent chance it won't come that far, and I do get where you are coming from. If you feel the need to prepare in this way do it, and it's kinda nice to have a well-prepared spare cave anyways ahahaha.
When I read your article I was thinking of the primitive technology dude, might be of great use if you aren't already familiar, though his environment is more jungly.

Hey there many thanks I don't know of the primitive technology dude so will check out his channel for any tips. I'm keen to learn as much as possible at this stage. It may not come to that as you say, but I like to keep my options for a bug out open.
