Birthday Ordeal: A freewrite

My birthday this year was a bit funny and awkward. But I most say opening the year with celebration sometime is really a big deal because you will have most times spent alot during the festive season. This was my typical situation.

Exactly a week into the new year is when I am to celebrate my birthday and honestly I have spent alot between the closing of the previous year to the opening of the year. So, I was like whatever will happen should happen and luckily I am where nobody knows anything about me but as the day draw closer I feel it's so strange not to do anything not even a photo shoot. So I decided to do something even if it is small. I started with the dress to wear.

So I decided to make a cool dress for myself since I have with me my electric sewing machine. I got the materials needed and get down to business. Unfortunately, poor power supply won't allow me complete my dress. As at a day to the deal day I have not complete my dress due to lack of power supply. I was actually close to tears a night before my birthday when I realized even the cloth I want to wear was not ready. The joy I heard was that I heard money on me because those that treasured me and I treasured wired some money into my account.

Looking at the money gives me joy but my pain is the money can't meet it's need. Luckily it was a Sunday so I dress up that morning for church and I must say service was great that day and I came back home. On getting home I took some slice of bread with coffee and I talked with few precious people before I knew what was happening I slept off only to wake up at night. On waking up I realized I haven't eaten anything reasonable for the day chai, as I was thinking about what to eat that was how the power supply was restored, jeez I was so angry and just decided to continue my sleep and that was how my birthday celebration went.

The good thing was my boo made me happy and with so much pressure from friends to do something I decided to get a post-birthday photo shoot, this was two days after the birthday lols. I just realized not is what killing yourself for.
