They became an item. I remember one funny item in one of the comics I read, that time Jean and Scott cooled off, before they got married, and Psylocke just moved into the mansion. So while Psylocke was walking by and Scott was doing something, Scott stopped what he was doing and ogled Psylocke. Then suddenly Jean appeared out of nowhere and said along the lines of, "So you acquired a new mutant ability when Psylocke is around. Your ability drool is off the charts." Something like that. Then later on the same comics Scott and Betsy were dating and Jean was aware. I think one of them lost their memory or something. I'll look it up again.
I am wrong that they were an item. Scott and Jean were about to be married in 15 months when they flirted. But I do remember they went on dates but that was still when Psylocke was being onboarded to the team. When she became a full member, the dating stopped and she became Warren's gf officially. But I think something happened ahaha
All the sources I've read say Psylocke was unsuccessful in her seduction of Scott. But apparently, she scored with Scott's clones, which IIRC are from an alternative universe. Scott and his clones do get around wherever they are. He's probably the X-Man with the most girls and progeny in all the multiverse.
I think it's implied there something happened. They went out for a ride in Scott's motorcycle 15 days before the wedding. It's a kind of shaking off the zipper blues before getting hitched.
