My Actifit Report Card: February 13 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Between work and some errands that couldn't wait, yesterday was quite busy again. We barely had time for a few breaks in the yard with Kaia. The weather was a bit gloomy anyways.

I was already tired but we couldn't skip our long daily walk. But once again, it was pushed to long after sundown.

It was pretty typical too. First a few miles in the forest, for Kaia to stretch her legs while off-leash.

Then a little Cubiverse vaults hunting outside the forest.

And back to the forest where Kaia keeps discovering new things.

At some point, I saw several pairs of eyes glowing in the light beam. A group of deer probably already settled for the night. Just as I was thinking "hopefully Kaia didn't notice", she disappeared in the darkness after them! They fled very fast, and she quickly gave up, but these poor deer probably slept with one eye opened the rest of the night! It's also when it started snowing. I wasn't expecting it all, so it was a great surprise. Unfortunately it wasn't even a dusting, it didn't stick.

Of course, we also added a few miles in the quiet neighborhood to finish another nice night walk.

What do you think Le Chat was doing during all that? Of course sleeping in one of her favorite spots in the house. That lazy cat!

Just like the day before, I had to work late. A second night going to bed at almost 6am, and not for fun, that's not good! But like I said, it should just be a few more days like that.
