My Actifit Report Card: October 30 2023
Hey Actifitters,
Until Kaia's fully recovered, our days stay quite similar. And yesterday wasn't really different. We started again with a walk in the yard. It was a bit gloomy outside, but it didn't rain.
Less and less leaves on the trees, but the ones remaining still show vibrant colors.
Like I already said, the rain and wind the last two nights really damaged the foliage, but in the forest behind the front yard, it's still mostly yellow and orange.
Probably not for long though.
Once again, I made the same usual mistake and our last walk of the day was a bit late, right around dusk. I could see the sunset colors behind the trees but not enough time to get a better view.
We walked in the neighborhood anyways.
And in the end, we did catch a few great glimpses of the sunset colors.
Even after it got darker.
And that was it. With Kaia getting stronger every day, we walk more and I can finally hit about 15k steps somewhat consistently. Hopefully this trend continues and I can get back to my usual activity level soon, and most importantly keep it long term.

Wow just the same.. perhaps it's the last beautiful views of autumn. Hopefully, Kaia's fully recovered when snow sets in. Does Kaia like snow? How about LeChat? I look forward to your lovely photos and fun stories with the dynamic duo LOL. Now I wish I even have a tiny backyard where I could walk daily LOL :P Happy new month ahead! Can't believe the year's almost over again...

Thanks! Yes, most likely the very last days for these fall colors. Even though the warm up in the forecast for this week end might give us a few more days, the first snow flakes yesterday were probably a sign that winter is upon us! Yay!! Yes, Kaia does love snow, maybe not as much as Genepi did, but almost. Not so sure about Le Chat, she already started spending more and more nights indoor. !lolz We didn't see her too often the last few days. I agree, a backyard is a great feature, I don't think I could easily go back to a house without one.

Thanks! Yeah, the long walks should be feasible soon, we just have to be careful not to overdo it. Today for instance may have been a bit too much, so maybe I will let Kaia rest more tomorrow. Even a partial sunset is a great view!
