My Actifit Report Card: October 3 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Until Kaia recovers, it's inevitable that many days will be similar. So yesterday again, we were in the yard relatively early, enjoying the sun and the foliage colors really starting to come in.

Early enough that Kaia was still a bit sleepy.

This little guy on the other hand was fully focused.

After almost two weeks without real activity, Kaia has a lot of energy. So plenty of breaks are necessary during the day. Another one in the afternoon was a nice opportunity to walk around the yard with a different light.

ROAAAR!!! Does Le Chat think she's one of them big cats, a lion maybe?

Of course not, she's just yawning!

Yet another patrol walk in the yard with the late afternoon light.

Kaia is now much more awake and detected an intruder close by.

Of course I cannot let her go after it. So after I put her back in the house, I went to investigate. You probably guessed it, it was once again a deer paying us a visit.

That gave me the idea to go on a short walk in the forest behind the fence to catch the sunset.

Like I mentioned a few days ago, there's actually some very nice viewpoints back there.

Often, there are some leaves in the foreground, but that looks great too.

To complete the day's activities, I went for a short run, mostly to test my knee. It was a bit painful, but not as bad as I thought. Maybe there is still a small chance I'll be able to run the half marathon in about 10 days now. Last minute decision...

The colors of fall are too lovely in your neighborhood! LOL I was laughing at LeChat story again. Her moments are priceless. Looks like Kaia is doing well so far. Hope she's back to normal soon. Hope you get enough training for the marathon. Happy #thankfulThursday!

Yeah, the colors are really starting to spread now. I will try and check the real forest hopefully this week end, not sure how it is there. Le Chat cracks me up every day! Yes, Kaia does seem to be doing well. I am supposed to send pictures and videos to the vet for her 2 weeks recheck soon. So, we should know more sometimes early next week.
