My Actifit Report Card: June 19 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was a holiday for Juneteenth and after a nice and active Sunday, the plan was mostly to relax. However, to avoid the heat, I got up earlier than I would have liked again and we went to the forest with Kaia. Even before getting there, we had this great encounter with wildlife. We see deer pretty much every day, but not so much with antlers like that.

But I really wanted to complete the walk before it got too hot, so we kept going.

As always, Kaia had plenty of fun chasing critters, and was tired when we got home.

Rest of the day was quiet and relaxed, mostly indoors away from the heat. But late afternoon, I couldn't resist going for another sunset walk. We started a bit late but the colors were still great and with the sprinklers, it looked pretty cool.

Until it disappeared completely behind the trees.

On the way back, we saw several more deer. Just so many of them. They were all worried about Kaia, but that didn't mean they fled.

And that was it. Probably not the best day to take it easy, because I am pretty sure I lost my last #Poliac match, costing me one rank in the final table. Oh well, considering I don't really walk specifically for it, like I used to in some of the previous seasons, I think it's still a pretty good performance.
