You can travel with your LASSECASH to any place with no problem, you can not do that with Gold and Silver, it would be confiscated at the airport or stolen by human-traffickers in the event of catastrophe.

Btw you used the word "global" which suggests that you believe we live on a ball, let me tell you the earth is flat: https://www.lassecash.com/flatearth/@lasseehlers/level

Among people that understand this stuff, there are consensus that precious metals and cryptocurrencies are "hard money".

I don't care much about the shape of the earth, I used "global" as something that affects entire world. The point is that there is a scenario in which any cryptocurrency might seize to exist. For example imagine that the operational costs for running a Hive node exceed the potential profit and witnesses decide to shut down. Then Hive and all hive-engine tokens will disappear into thin air where they came from. Something that is not possible for "hard money" as gold

Ok please use the words "in the world" or "in the whole world" or similar in the future ;), then you will not have problems with the truth...

About Hive, what you describe will never happen. The game theory is very strong in Hive, stronger then you know... the top 20 witnesses makes like ~$8000 per month last time I calculated and it cost only a fraction to run a node... many many people are emotionally invested in the chain, a part of their life story... even if the chain broke down (which will never happen) then a new group could spin up a new chain with the history of hive/steem in it...

"Hive" is forever... you believe in fairy tales, probably made from top witnesses to argue for higher pay lol so simple it is.... game theory is stronger then fairy tales

Ok, noted about the terminology ;)
As for the game theory - it's just a theory ;) needs proofs. I've heard fairy tales from the top witnesses mostly about Steem quick death and Hive rising after the hardfork but none of them proved true
I think I floated away from the topic sorry about that. And thanks for the upvote, I'll check LasseCash community

Its a tribe.

About the Hostile takeover, I was there dude when it happened!

I moved to Hive day one (while a lot took months or half years to finally move), which these post proves:

Before the Hardfork: https://www.lassecash.com/steem/@lasseehlers/hostile-take-over-of-steem

When the Hardfork had happened: https://steemit.com/lassecash/@lasseehlers/lassecash-token-swapped-to-hive

I guess many others waited to see how the Hive will work, before actually switch to it.
