My remarks to Stacy and Max at Bitcoin 2024
Its kind-of perverse to see these people in action. I dont even know where to start. So let me start with that Max used the word "planet", telling us that he dont know the earth is flat.
They have a guru status amoung Bitcoin Maximalists and its perverse in my oppinion.
Well there is STATISM and there is ANARCHOCAPITALISM, but you cant have both, you need to choose, which side are you on, in your actions and in your words?
So Stacy and Max appearently can defy reality and have it both ways. On one side Max is bashing the fiat money system and on the other side he is promoting real estate in El Salvador and a Bitcoin bank where you can giveup your keys and borrow fiat money to buy real estate (if I understood it correctly?).
It reminds me of Tatiana Moroz who appearently gave up her Bitcoin keys to borrow against her Bitcoin to buy an appartment in Miami. Is that anarcho capitalism? No its a mix of anarchocapitalism and statism, which is impossible in reality, so its probably more statism, because she gave up the keys and no more has her sovereignty.
Its the same shit Max is promoting.
The idea that one country should be better for Bitcoin than the other, I think is wrong, because you can use Bitcoin everywhere in the world where there is internet and you dont have to involve the state in anything, wasnt that the whole point.
That lead me to think about how El Salvador allegedly force the citizens to use a specific Bitcoin wallet created by the government that has KYC. Which again defy the principal in anarchocapitalism, as now the government know what you do with your money at all times. One could argue that the citizens could just use another Bitcoin wallet and circumvent the KYC in the governement wallet, right? Yes they could and everyone else in the whole world could, again making the legal tender of Bitcoin in El Salvador BS!
So what more is wrong with Max's approach? Well he is a Bitcoin Maximalist. There is a reason that Bitcoin is open source, its so that people can take the code, improve it and make a new innovative product. Seems like Max is ignoring this fact and he go on to say that all other cryptocurrency is a scam.
I strongly disagree I believe that there is a reason that Bitcoin/Blockchain is open source, its so that we can improve apound it and make our own better money.
It already happend for 15 years, its called innovation.
The most important improvement in my view is the creation of Delegated Proof of Stake in 2015, which make it so that a blockchain use very little ressources, we calculated that its around one modern house holds ressource that a DPOS blockcahin use, even with more users, its the same consumption. In contrast Bitcoin is using the same ressources as a country like Sweden or Finland uses and it grows with more miners/more users. Max ignore these facts.
Stacy was saying that now she believes there is a chance that USA will be the second country to make Bitcoin legal tender, this I actually found interesting, as if it happens there is a chance scandinavia (where I live) will follow suit, even it seems unrealistic right now, then again this legal tender thing is kind-of BS as argued above and Bitcoin will only pollute more and more in the future.
There is actually no need to make these cryptocurrencies legal tender, as everyone can just use it, its a personal decision. The biggest problem is that most people dont understand the fiat money system and they therefore ee no reason to educate themselves into cryptocurrency. So on that note maybe making it "legal tender" could help with getting rid of peoples general brainwashing. On a positive note I would like to see countries making DPOS cryptocurrencies legal tender, that would be a bold move, again without KYC, abolishing the state, so that will never happen right?
In the end, its the people that just have to decide to use the right cryptocurrencies for everything and then the state fall the same day.
What Max is advocating is to only use Bitcoin (which pollute extremely can is too slow to use as cash etc) and is promoting real estate investments which are connected to fiat money. So he is perverted and is not adhearing to the principal in anarchocapitalism.

Person who doesn't claim to be what you claim to be isn't doing it the way you think it should be done. I would think by your age you would realize that not everybody is like you. If everyone was just like you the world economy would just be a series of scam and overpriced low quality shirts advertising the scams.
After pointing out so many times that you aren't even spelling what you claim to believe in (it's anarcho-capitalism, not anarchocapitalism or anarcho capitalism) I am starting to think you simply made up a form of Ponzi scam economics and you call it "anarchocapitalism". Sort of like how other scammers will use a made up pseudoscience term to sell their magnetic bracelets as alternative medicine.
