Kefu and the deer

A small tale of Kefu
Kefu was a boy who always wondered the forest and loved to play around.
He would always leave home as early in the morning after he did with house chores which were not much and wondered into the forest. He would climb trees, swim around and play tag with the wild animals.
Kefu always felt alive when ever he was in the forest.

Other children do go there and play as well. But the most frequent visitor was Kefu. He had a friend Neji who mostly would play with him. They were both funded by each other. Even had a specific meeting spot. Happy times indeed but the elders are worried about a soon approaching danger to their Oasis.

The wild predators such as wolves, tigers would soon make their settlement there and they would have to leave immediately.
The name of the forest was Pwatara. The place a lot of animals like deers and so
would be a perfect place to hunt. One faithful morning he went as usual to the forest. Before he reached he dropped by Neji house but she was out on an errand. So he went alone.

kefu heard a sound as though something was running away coming from a far direction. And be saw a strange looking deer injured on the leg and leaping. He saw this at the outskirts of the forest as that day he decided to get to the borders of the forest just to get a good view at the cliff there. He noticed now in situ behind the deer at a distance an approaching it was a wolf tracing it's set while slowly approaching. And when it came close the boy looked for rocks and stoned the wolf chasing it away. And the wolf had to go for a tactical retreat. Then the deer laid down in relaxation. So the boy came down a bit from the higher ground slowly approaching the deer to see how it was. And carefully.

As he came close to touch the deer all of a sudden the deer attacked him, throwing him to the side. Thus he had a momentary lapse. When his vision of him became clearer he could only wonder why the deer would attack him.
