The best diet for humans is one that provides all the essential nutrients in balanced amounts. A healthy diet usually includes fruits, vegetables, protein sources such as meat, fish, legumes, and eggs, and healthy fats. Also, consuming whole grains and low-fat dairy products in the diet is important.

Here are some specific amounts that can be part of a healthy diet:

  • Nuts: 50 grams daily
  • Beans, pulses and other pulses: 75 grams daily
  • Fish: 28 grams daily
  • Eggs: 13 grams daily
  • Meat: beef 14g, chicken 29g daily
  • Carbohydrates: firm grains such as wholegrain bread and rice 232g while starchy vegetables 50g daily.

These amounts provide a general guideline, but each individual's nutritional needs vary depending on their age, gender, activity level, and health status. It is best to consult a nutritionist to improve your diet
