My Actifit Report Card: February 25 2024

Last month I was sitting at a loved one's house. He had called me for some work. Arriving on time. Aziz met with love. In particular, his sons met and spoke in a surprising manner. With great politeness, they made me sit in the seat, gave me water and then placed fruits in a saucer.

With this surprising way of theirs, I kept watching the habits and behaviors of these children all the time.
As the guests kept coming, they kept making them sit and offering water etc. Meanwhile, a scene caused great surprise to me. When a gentleman came, those children did not move forward for him and did not ask him to sit somewhere. Rather, they were completely "ignored". They did not even ask for water etc.
A person who writes has a disorder of "noting" everything and is confused in thinking.
So for me this seemingly trivial incident became a big question. I did not understand why the children called him "Agnor" even though he was a highly respected and well-educated person. The attendees belonged to the most prestigious section in the Majlis.
I was in the same age group. I saw Aziz's son standing outside. I quickly went to him and asked him, "Son, that white hat sir, you have come, you did not show any special warmth on his arrival, I will feel something strange."
Aziz's elder son said as if he had burst, "Uncle ji, those friends of papa come every day, they sit with papa ji. If they don't come in the evening, they come in the morning. Sometimes you make them have breakfast, sometimes they do it." Do that sometimes, it is a Sunnah to serve a guest, I don't know what Sunnah it is to go to someone's house every day.
Immediately, the second child said, "Uncle Ji, they don't know. They come every day. We have to talk to Papa. In the morning, Papa used to take us for a walk. Now, because of him, he doesn't take us. Uncle stays sitting."
I was surprised and worried to hear their words. I don't understand. Meanwhile, the elder child immediately grabbed my hand and came closer and said in a whispering manner, "Uncle Ji, Mama is also very angry that these uncles come early every day. I don't know what has made your papa die. They used to say, papa." Now I have brought some blockers, they have come themselves, now come home and serve the guest is the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
Dear friends!
I felt very ashamed that so many innocent children are being affected by someone's uninvited guest.
Indeed, the daily coming and going digs the value.
Actually we don't know the manners of going to someone's house. Yes, there is support, there is friendship, but one should not ride on someone all the time.
And then sitting in someone's house is causing torture and against the Sunnah. Care must be taken.
