To maintain motivation in this activity and to continue being a runner for many years, there is no need to feel ashamed about walking in some sections, many runners, both beginners and advanced, mistakenly believe that walking in sections to take breaks and recover in certain sections of his training sessions make him something of a “non-runner.”


Not only is this completely false, but also taking certain breaks in strategic places and moments of your training in order to recover, can bring you a few benefits on a physiological level, in fact, for most beginners the best method to use is the one that combines jogging with walks in specific periods.


This type of work helps any runner, not just beginners, to improve our cardiorespiratory capacity, that is, to raise our heart rate less and shake our heart less when we run.


And it helps us a lot in the psychological emotional part, it helps us want to continue running, to have that desire to go for a little more each day and as we progress in this way we will gradually be able to walk less and run more until when you least notice it. You will be completing your first 5 or even 10 km, so let's run...
