Scientific studies, high protein breakfasts.




Many Medical experts and nutritionists recommend that their patients strictly follow a specific diet, and most agree that eating protein for breakfast, according to several studies, can help us curb cravings for other foods during the rest of the day, increasing our satiety and thus improving our chances of losing weight safely, in a healthy way.


The idea was that we should eat in the hour after waking up, but recent studies show that, although breakfast is a key meal and should be the most abundant, it is not necessary to consume it immediately after waking up.


We talk about breakfast as the meal that breaks our fast. and that meal does not necessarily have to be eaten at 4, 5, 6, 7 in the morning, it can be much later, when more time has passed since we started our day, since we got up.


Breakfast is the first meal of the day, regardless of whether you eat it very early or a little later. And that is the meal in which it is key to include a sufficient portion of protein. And in this sense, many current studies agree that consuming protein during that meal can help us control the reward centers in our brain, which send signals that control food motivation that often make us want to indulge in some food that, In quantity or quality, they are not the best.


And this basically happens because protein has a high satiety power, which not only stops us from feeling hungry at that moment, but also makes us have less desire to eat hours later.
