In this part of my food recipe series, I would be sharing my bangus recipe, homemade burritos, and chicken sisig.



Bangus Sisig

This is actually my favorite specialty. That's because nobody cooks this like I do.

Ingredients:

  • Bangus
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Bell Pepper
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Black Pepper
  • Mayonnaise
  • Soy Sauce
  • Calamansi
  • Cooking oil

Procedure:

  • Rub a little bit of salt on bangus.
  • Fry the bangus, and allow to cool.
  • Shred the bangus. I actually bought the boneless bangus that's not marinated.

  • Heat the pan with cooking oil.
  • Stir fry the onion, garlic, and bell pepper.
  • Add the shredded bangus, keep stir frying.
  • Add soy sauce and calamansi. Stir fry.
  • Add salt, sugar and pepper.
  • Finally, add the mayonnaise.
  • Keep stir frying until it's a bit toasted.
  • Serve!

Homemade Burritos

We tried to make our own burritos as we invited out other members of the family.

Ingredients:

  • Ground beef
  • McCormick Burrito Seasoning
  • Burrito wraps
  • Lettuce
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Tomatoes
  • Grated cheese

Procedure:

  • Heat the pan with cooking oil, and stir fry the chopped onions and garlic.
  • Add the ground beef, and keep stir frying.
  • Put in the McCormick Burrito Seasoning.
  • Cook until the ground beef is tender.

  • In a plate, put the burrito wrap.
  • Spread out the lettuce.
  • Add the ground beef.
  • It will be followed by onions, tomatoes, and cheese.
  • Wrap, then use a stick so it won't open.
  • Serve!

Chicken Sisig

We had a lot of leftover roasted chicken, and I decided to make chicken sisig.

Ingredients:

  • Leftover roasted chicken (shredded)
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Bell Pepper
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Black Pepper
  • Mayonnaise
  • Soy Sauce
  • Calamansi
  • Cooking oil

Procedure:

  • Sliced or shred the leftover roasted chicken.
  • Heat the pan with cooking oil.
  • Add the onions, garlic, bell pepper, then stir fry.
  • Spread out the shredded chicken, and stir fry.
  • Pour in some soy sauce, and calamansi.
  • Add the salt, sugar, and black pepper. Keep stir frying.
  • Add the mayonnaise. Keep stirring.
  • Cook until the chicken is a bit toasted.
  • Serve!
