After Dinner with My Little Buddy
After we go through all of the ritual of dinner, we talk about our blessing for the day. Most of my children's blessing for today is that we are feeling well after the bug.
We've exterminated the BUG! My last child got through the illness and everyone is feeling better! All the more reason to Bless the Most High for His power and glory and might! All honor and glory to His Holy Name!
Green juice and a little dinner for dinner. This time of year, I restrict my food intake for three weeks. It's something I've done to various degrees for over 10 years now. It's not quite a fast, but I call it that for lack of a better term.
Prayer and Fasting
Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. Mathew 17:21
There is a spiritual war going on and it's the duty of the father of the house to do whatever he can to protect the household and everyone inside. Prayer is very effective, but how much more effective during a time of fasting.
We pray that the will of the Most High is done on earth as it is in Heaven and that His name is glorified among the nations. Amen!
