We Are Alive! April 14th, 2023 Getting Ready
Today is the big day! My wife and three oldest are at her family's house getting beautified, while I'm home with the younger ones for a second round. There's a wedding today, this afternoon!
We had an unexpected incident today. I was getting some last minute supplies for the rest day and while I was driving the car to the store, the vehicle showed some very odd behavior.... until deciding it wasn't going to drive.
Oh no! We have a wedding to attend this afternoon! It's about a 45 minute drive away. We need a reliable vehicle that seats 8 people!
We made some last minute phone calls and arranged a ride for the first batch, then borrowing a mini-van for the rest of the family. Whew.

Sad to read that your car showed odd behavior when you were going for wedding but it is good that transport is arranged.
This reminds me of the extended Murphy's law. "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong, and at the worst possible time".
