I Am Alive! January 4th, 2022 Bringing Home the Groceries!
Instacart is Very Convenient
One of our favorite outings that I used to do with my wife was we would regularly go the grocery store together. We would enjoy talking about different products, finding the best prices, etc.
As our family has grown (we're a family of 8 now), we've had to go solo to the store. That is until everything got flipped upside-down. Since then we've discovered instacart! We had them delivered to our door for a while and that was extremely easy. Since the fees have gone up, we pickup at the store.
Today's mission was to bring home the groceries. Wow we got a lot of groceries. A few taps on the iPad, a little drive to the local Aldi, and I'm bringing home a car full of groceries!

Great to see you alive and out shopping @ironshield, we all need food to eat, and I have heard Aldi has low prices too, even though we don't have them here, but we have Lidl, eat well with your family and stay safe, awesome and alive.

Thanks, yes we are blessed to have access to good food, but even if that becomes unavailable someday, we are still grateful for the one above who provides food and clothing for His children.

Oh I am very sad to see and hear that you and your family eat non organic food and support slavery by buying in a grocery store or from an big online chain.
This must be one of the reasons you are not in best shape.
Family of 8 wow. One should first learn to live healthy before producing so many children.
A man who buys unhealthy food for to poison his family and our environment.
I am sure there must be some reason, why this is supported by our community curators - I just don´t see it.
Oh you also have the german ALDI in your country. Wow they grew fast. Even the organic products they sell are fake. I guess except of the water maybe there is no healthy product you can buy at ALDI.
NOT one single healthy product but the poison is always on sale.

It makes things so much easier. Independent shopping is becoming popular, but the fees are usually pretty high.

@ironshield, prices of deliveries are going up. But people do prefer as its convenient.
I do my grocery shopping at the shops combined with actifit steps.
But its good to see you going out to do some grocery shopping.

I still enjoy browsing at a local grocery store, just to see what they have and how their stock is doing. I usually bring one of my little ones with me.
Instacart and the various other delivery options make it very easy to not be exposed to people during those trying times. We live in a rural area and the only option was to order online to the grocery store in the near by town which was 13 miles away for pick up. Take care

Being able to pick up groceries curb-side is a great convenience and we should always be careful about exposure to contagions. Although I hope society doesn't continue this anti-social trend for too long, civilization needs person-to-person contact to survive.

In my family it is "special" day, always when i get sallary and then children and we buy everything what we thing that it is need for house :) when i se they eye they glowing(yes you can :) put in bag also )

The internet has made a lot of things easy. This saves you a lot of time and you can compare prices at the comfort of your home. It's unfortunate that delivery fees have gone I but I guess picking them up isn't so bad. Happy new year

I prefer it when groceries are picked in the store than from instamarkets because while going around the mall you will definitely see something you didn't know you had need for.
It's nice that you could shop for your groceries.
That's a good point, although we find that "impulse buys" go down, especially as we can see the total as we put items into the cart. We miss the real-life shopping, but this is much more convenient.
