I think you that friend deserve to be worried all the time. He is gambler and he have no intention to leave it. I think, you can stop worrying about him because he is not worried about himself truly. Leave him with his own fate if he is not ready to change himself.

It's not exactly easy to turn a blind eye to someone suffering. Yes I agree that it's his own doing, but that doesn't make it easy. Sometimes I wish I can just ignore and walk away.
