7-time Balon d'Or winner Lionel Messi has shared some of his plans for the future. According to the Argentine, he pointed out that he has some plans of playing in the United States sometime in future.
During some point in his career, it seemed like the whole days would be spent with the Catalan giants.
However, stint has now be brought to a halt with his move to PSG.
Currently, his deal with PSG now runs until sometime in the summer of 2023.

2023 and beyond?

As earlier highlighted, the contract of the PSG star runs till the summer of 2023. However, only time would reveal if Messi desires to stay at the Parisian Club after then.
In a recent interview, the 7-time Balon d'Or winner stated that the United States could be a possible destination. Particularly if he notices that he can no longer cope with the pressures of European football.

Summary:

In the same media statement. Messi stated that he has loved the U.S as a country. And has always had dreams of making a move over.
Hence, we cannot entirely rule out a move to the MLS in the near future for the Argentine.
