Hi hivers! The Hivebootcamp Hub Community presents another juicy edition of Be Hive Aware. If you've been following, you sure know the drill by now that the weekly Hive Editorial is an initiative of ours to help foster better engagement on our favorite blockchain especially for the newbies!

This edition will cover a number of events, initiatives & contests in which every reader can participate in. These are some of the amazing things Hive has to offer everyone on the blockchain. So be sure to explore as many options available, you definitely don't want to miss out on any of them!
Hive Contests
To kick things off, we bring to your notice some contests that are currently active. You should give them all a shot. participation means better engagement and an opportunity for you to get rewarded for the efforts you put into participating.
#JoinHive Referral Contest {Ends 1st October, 2020}
The month of September is specially set aside for onboarding new users on Hive. The contest is geared at making Hive reach a wider audience and increase the number of users and engagement. Participants who turn out to be top referrers stand a chance to win HIVE rewards worth a total of $200 which will be split between 5 winners!

Hive Creative Contest | The Happiness Mantra {Ends 13th September 2020 by 5.59PM (South Africa Time)}
@zord189; a member of the Power House Creatives Community has extended a contest usually held in his community to all hivers at large. To participate, all that is required of you is to come up with a one-sentence happiness mantra you can say to yourself each morning! Be sure to check out the criteria and info about the submission in this post.
#ZAPFIC Microfiction Writing Contest Week 124
Not looking to write much and hoping to earn some rewards, well this contest started by @felt.buzz is one to give a try. #zapfic is a very short story written in less than 240 characters hosted in the Freewriters Community. Read through this post to get the full gist of this contest and see how to get involved.
Hive Initiatives
Moving on, a number of hivers have gone an extra bit to come up with initiatives we find very amazing. You should jump in on any of the ones provided below.
#HiveCommunities - Communities Discovery Initiative
Yet again, @theycallmedan presents hivers with an opportunity to express themselves and engage with other hivers. Hive is all about community and everyone interested in participating in the initiative will have to share their favorite Hive communities and tell the world why they like them and why they post on them.
Be sure to check out the tweaks for your twitter post and more info about participating in this post. The initiative ends 12th September 2020, so you can still catch on guys!
Who are your most Favourite and Hated personalities on Hive Initiative
Is there that hiver you've always wanted to gossip about? Someone who has been amazingly awesome to you and there is probably that hiver who doesn't really fall in your good books. @bluemist provides an avenue for you to talk or write about these people. You don't necessarily have to mention names and don't forget to use the #hivepersonality in your post. Check here for more details!
Use poshbot to Monitor Twitter for your Hive Posts!
When it comes to making your post and Hive reach a larger audience and promote more engagement, the concept of Proof of Share is an effective approach.You share a link to your article on twitter or any other social media. You can leave the Proof of share in the comment section of your post.

Eclipse Hardfork Progress
For the I.T inclined hivers, @blocktrades discusses the progress made with Hived and some minor issues that were discovered and fixed in this post.Furthermore, updates on Hivemind was also reported and 22nd September 2020 has been chosen for the hardfork date. To get more details, check here.
Ecency Mobile v3.0.4 Release
The @ecency team has been amazing as they keep working to ensure users have a smooth hive experience with either your PC or mobile device. This post gives an highlight of various fixes and performance boost to the mobile app.
