The Toronto Raptors defeated the visiting team Brooklyn Nets in a high-scoring and a very close game to 119-118. Fred VanVleet led the Toronto Raptors with 29 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists. Terence Davis scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 1 assist while Pascal "Spicy P" Siakam contributed 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the team victory. Meanwhile Caris LeVert led all scorers with 37 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Spencer Dinwiddie scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists. DeAndre Jordan scored 15 points, 14 rebounds and 1 assist while Taurean Prince added 17 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists for the Brooklyn Nets in the losing effort. The Toronto Raptors team was built for DeMar DeRozan just for them to trade him for a superstar who left. Respect to their Most Valuable Player but apparently this team was a great team regardless but they literally needed time. This is the same team that was built around DeMar DeRozan, anyone that watched the Toronto Raptors with DeMar DeRozan knew he was the problem. It was built around him to play isolation and he conveniently choked everytime he was called upon in playoffs. This team has multiple guys that can lead the team in scoring on any given night now, they actually play as a team. Kawhi "The Klaw" Leonard is just a missing piece for winning the tittle but this team is still a playoffs team with or without him. Hopefully the Toronto Raptors fill up what Kawhi "The Klaw" Leonard left in the playoffs and reach the NBA finals. And i wonder why Terrence Davis didn't make it to the rising star, he's playing with a chip on his shoulder now maybe it's better off for Toronto Raptors and bad for opponents and doubters. Anyways, the Toronto Raptors improve their record to 39-14 while the Brooklyn Nets fall to 23-28.
