I'm trying to do the "Add website" part and the site verification and this is what I get back, "Reason: Does not load in a frame Banned Keyword: hive.blog URL: https://hive.blog/@frostyamber

So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, any ideas? 😊

The hive.blog domain does not allow loading inside of a frame. CTPX displays content inside a frame.

You can create the post on hive blog and then view the post via ctptalk to get a new url to add to ctpx websites.

Thank you for your response...I'm not very tech savvy I'm sorry, what is ctptalk? Do you mean that you have to do a new ctpx website for each post? My apologies if I'm misunderstanding. 😊

For example,

I created the following post in the We Are Alive Tribe Community
https://hive.blog/hive-155221/@fjworld/the-beauty-of-sadness

If I was to add that like as a website on ctpx I would get an error.

So what you do is view your post via CTPtalk as the hive frontend
https://ctptalk.com/

In my example, I added the @fjworld/the-beauty-of-sadness to the end of the ctptalk url.
https://ctptalk.com/@fjworld/the-beauty-of-sadness

And now the link can be added as a website on ctpx

I do see that you are trying to show your default hive blog page
https://hive.blog/@frostyamber but it looks like you have not created a post, only used reblogging

If you follow the above to get it displayed on ctpx as a website you would use the following link.
https://ctptalk.com/@frostyamber

However, you have not created a blog using the ctptalk frontend so that would not be good to share on ctpx

Best that you create a blog on hive, ctptalk or other frontend you find easier to use and then follow the steps above to get it to show to Xplorers.

Thank you Jack for helping my friend out! The posts do not include #ctp in the tags, so they won't display on ctptalk.com. I'm wondering if there's another front-end that might work? I tried peakd and ecency and both give the same error. Hmm... Any ideas?

Not sure I follow.
I was addressing the ability to add a valid url in ctpx

That's the procedure I follow when I create a post on the generic hive frontend and yes, Peakd as well.

You can use the CTPtalk frontend without error and yes using #ctp tag means that ctptalk will show the post from other frontends. I do forget that one sometimes and I have placed it as a first tag when I didn't want to. It's a learning process. !lol

Not sure I follow.

I checked on ctptalk.com/@frostyamber and no posts show up since she does not use the tag #ctp. I'm wondering if there are any other urls that might work to display her content on ctpx besides ctptalk. Peakd and ecency display her content, but do not work with ctpx.

It's a learning process.

Okay, wait, you are saying I can just add #ctp as one of my tags on my posts in here or Steemit or wherever and they will show over there, even if I don't add them over on their site myself?

When I saw you joined, I about jumped for joy!

Sorry it's giving some trouble, as an xplorerer you do not require to have a website to earn tickets for the ctp drawings, but it would be nice to use those credits to get extra views on your blog. I'll do some research to figure out if there's a front-end that will work with your blog content!

No worries, I'm sure it's me. Thank you for your help with this as I'm a bit of a luddite with any tech, especially new stuff. I do try to give it my best effort though. LOL! 😊

It will be another crypto that I have no clue what to do with and end up giving to others, but that's good, other's will benefit and use it for whatever they need and that makes me happy. I like to help whenever I can. 😊

I wish I could say that I will get it eventually, but my brain starts to wander away every time I try to read or learn anything about crypto and nothing sticks anymore. Maybe some day there will be a switch that turns on in there and I'll start to remember stuff again, but for now, I'll just keep on giving it my best effort and not get too frustrated with myself for not grasping any of the basics while happily sharing whatever funds I'm earning with those that need it the most and all will be good. 😊
