Barcelona disappointed badly on Wednesday night in the Champions League, where the club lost all 3-0 to Portuguese Benfica in the group. The management of the club held a meeting until late at night, apparently to discuss coach Ronald Koeman's future at the club. Things are not exactly going Barcelona's way at the moment.

Despite the club being in a very difficult situation, they still feel they can lure the biggest stars to Catalonia. On Thursday, the Spanish media El Nacional writes that Barcelona will pick up Egyptian Mohamed Salah in Liverpool.

The media writes that the Catalan big club hopes to be able to send a bid for the 29-year-old striker next summer. The Egyptian has not yet extended his contract with the English vice-champions, and Barcelona hope to take advantage of that and try to lure Salah to the historic Spanish club.

Salah has come off well this season and the Egyptian has scored eight goals in eight games for Liverpool in all competitions.
