Lessons from the Worship service held on the 5th November 2021 via zoom
I joined the the Live worship service via zoom and I learnt a lot from the teaching by bro Daniel.
In this video, I shared some of the lessons I learned from the worship service. Watch and be blessed.
As we give, it should be coupled with faith.
James 2:22 KJV
Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
Faith without work is dead.
There should be no brethren begging for food or clothes because it is an obligation to give to others.
We should not ne anxious of anything.
James 2:16-17 KJV
And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? [17] Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
You cannot see your brother in need and say that you have faith.
If you believe, you will give. We should give what is due to all.
Romans 13:7 KJV
Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due ; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
If you have faith, it is impossible that you will not work and it is impossible that you will not give.
James 2:15 KJV
If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
A religion or church whose member die of hunger or cold is not of God.
Hebrews 13:7 KJV
Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
We need to submit ourselves to those that lead us.
James 1:3-4,6 KJV
Knowing this , that the trying of your faith worketh patience. [4] But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. [6] But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
If you have faith that works, when you see a brother or sister that has nothing to eat or to put on, you will give to the person.
