Yes! Lots of black and narrow red indicates a hard winter. More red than black; a milder one. They are usually pretty accurate!

You can learn a lot from the animals! Our kitties' fur is coming in thick and luxurious; another indication and of course, horses and cows; if their hair is thick as fall progresses-watch out! God is indeed good!
