Where’s the fire?! It’s here! Cot is basking front of it! The only problem with a fire is that it makes you sleepy as Cot can attest to!
I sure wish I could call it a night and just go to sleep. Unfortunately that isn’t the case. 😏
Work today was busy and slow. Yeah, I get that sounds like an oxymoron, but it seriously was. We had 3 patients in a row, just not show for their exams! I called 2 that were related and they had something come up and wouldn’t be there. I don’t understand how they couldn’t pick up the phone and let us know.
I had a lot of orders to do though. Tomorrow sees us with no doc, although I’ve got at least two patients coming to order glasses and two twin boys for first time contact lens training. Two at once-oh boy! I’ve done two before but invariably one gets it a little better than the other and a bit of competition can ensue. 🙄 Then after the workday, it’s the beginning of my weekend! I’m hoping for a 4 day one this time. If I don’t have to go in, it will be the first one since the new year. 😎👍
