You Can Almost Imagine…..My Actifit Report Card: December 30 2023

Looking at this first picture, you could almost imagine they are either umbrellas in a beach type setting or, that they’re the roof of a couple of huts. Of course neither is the case as they are tiny ‘shrooms in the forest! I had never seen this variety until I ran across them last week on the hike.

Well folks; it’s raining buckets here today. We had today as tomorrow would not be conducive to going, to spend flex dollars for over the counter products. So, we went shopping after first going to Starbucks to load up on some coffee, courtesy of Bill and Agi! Then it was off to Walmart to see whether or not we could spend the allotment given. I had other things I needed as well, so it was worth going into town for. Because not everything was allowed to be purchased, it took a bit of scanning with the app to determine what we could and couldn’t get. Once at the self check, fortunately a friend of mine was on duty and helped us sort out those items that weren’t allowed. It was @silvertop who noticed an icon that got the ball rolling. In the end, we paid $.35 out of pocket! Pretty good, I’d say!!

Then, I needed to stock up on coffee cups, lids, syrup, cocoa and a canister of frappe mix, so it was off to a store in Bellingham for those items. By the way, it was pouring rain still! We got drenched!☔️☔️☔️

We are home now with a fire going in the wood stove.

It’s hard to believe that tomorrow is the last day of 2023. Where did the year go? I’m hoping for an exciting and eventful (in a good way) 2024. I have an idea of some things I want to accomplish but think I need to write them down and organize it. Some will require time management which lately seems to be out of control! There is no management, lol!
