Plan A Or Plan B?.............My Actifit Report Card: June 17 2023
@actifit-lamb wanted to come with us today to practice for tomorrow’s service, but in the end, it was good she didn’t. We had planned to get to church around 10 to start. We had several troubleshooting things to work on for the mysterious interference we’ve been having, plus practice.
We were supposed to afterwards, head up to the road for another celebration of life for one of the three neighbors that have passed away. This was for Marge, who was Suzanne’s mom who resides at the top of the road. However, when we got to church around 11:20, we discovered there was a celebration of life for a woman who recently passed away. Kick in, plan B. Go home, head up to Suzanne’s for her mom’s celebration of life, stay for a bit; hike back home and THEN head to church! Are you with me thus far?
The celebration was just getting started so there were just a few folks there. Jan came with us.

You can’t see the man in the photo, but the gal cooking the fish is Marge’s niece. She put some salmon on a stick and I was wondering how it was ever going to cook.

Alas, it was time to leave. As we were hiking home, the road had a lovely display of digitalis-one of my favorite wildflowers.
Once home, we jumped in the car and headed to church. Almost 3 hours later, we had-changed the frequency on the church’s wireless handheld mic; changed the frequencies on two in ear monitors; turned on all wireless mics and tried to re-create the distortion and finally, practiced! Whew! 😅 I am bushed! 🥱 Have you ever tried juggling three wireless mics simultaneously? Not an easy feat!

You might be right about the salmon, but I think that would take longer than they were going to have. My neighbor Suzanne sent a video of our other neighbors Keith and Lynne, singing and playing a song about her mom, Marge, who the celebration of life was for. I didn't see any fish on the fire then.

This remains me of whenever I visit home, we always do BBQ in an opponent. When I first saw the piano, I thought you wanted to play haha, I would have love to actually see but then again how was service? I didn't make it to church today as I planned a surprise celebration for my personal person that turned to my dad and since today is father's day, we made the surprise huge and awesome.
And oh, before I forget, I love carts as mind is with my mom :)

The service went well. Our worship team is just me an my husband, but that keyboard has an entire orchestra in it, so I use 2-3 of them at a time. It works for us.
